R&S was originally founded in Allentown, PA in 1925 and has been in continuous operation since that time. In 1962, the Allentown operation was relocated to Charlotte, NC. In July 2007, R&S relocated to its current location in Bessemer City, NC. | |
R&S Machinery & Design, Inc. manufactures the new production of the RS-HDW Heavy Duty Winder in several variations, new RS-SP1 Spooler also in several variations; we offer Remanufactured Leesona 968, 967, 959, Take-up units, 861 Precision Winders as well as Foster Model 77 and 78 Winders. We have spare parts for all of the above machines. We also manufacture new Godets Roll Stands, Fibrillators, Slitters, Quench Tanks, as well as the expertise to build Extrusion Lines. Due to our flexibility, we can offer custom applications that are quite often not available through normal outlets. We have supplied new and remanufactured winders to most of the major fiber and tape producers throughout the world. We are always prepared to assist you in any way that we may be of service.
